The apartment is designed for permanent residential use and was brand new in 2009. With plenty of space and two good bedrooms and bathrooms it provides very comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

 

The standard is high with excellent thermal and sound insulation. It is furnished and equipped as a ‘home away from home’, unlike most  serviced apartments in Bristol. (Please note the neighbours are mostly permanent residents, so their right to peace and quiet must be respected at all times).

 

Living / dining room with kitchen area

Very large room with panoramic views. Large and comfortable sofa and separate armchair. Extendable dining table seating up to six people. 43 inch Smart TV with Freeview channels and DVD player. Quality CD player and speakers.

 

Vertical blinds and curtains on all windows enable you to let in as much or as little daylight and view as you wish. Patio doors give access to a small balcony with a bench where you can sit and watch the world go by (you are welcome to smoke out here, but only with the doors to the apartment closed).

 

The kitchen area includes a large fridge / freezer, dishwasher, electric ceramic hob, large microwave and conventional oven and grill, plus plenty of storage and work surface space. Professional quality utensils and cookware are provided to make self-catering a pleasure rather than a chore. Standard items such as kettle, toaster, cafetiere, scales etc. are all provided as well as plenty of high quality cutlery and crockery.

 

Main bedroom with en suite shower / WC.

The main bedroom is above a small side street with no through traffic. There is a large double bed (5 ft, 150cm) with two separate high quality pocket sprung mattresses. Reading lights to both sides plus soft bedside lighting and ceiling lights. Large built-in wardrobe with mirrored doors and plenty of storage shelves and hanging space. Vertical blinds and curtains enable you to keep the room as light or as dark as you wish, and there is an excellent view of the city.

 

The ensuite shower room has a large shower cabinet with thermostatic shower, wash basin and WC. Heated towel rail, storage shelves, mirror and electric shaving point..

 

Second bedroom / study

The second bedroom is a little smaller than the main one but with the same position and view . Large built-in wardrobe with plenty of shelving and hanging space. A full size single ‘day bed’ is provided which can also be used as a large and comfortable sofa. A second full size single bed with a comfortable mattress is stored under the day bed and can be simply rolled out and positioned wherever you wish. Reading lights and soft bedside lighting, plus ceiling lights. Vertical blinds and curtains. There is also a‘console table’ which provides working space for a laptop, or it can be extended to provide a larger work space or play space for children.

 

Main bathroom

The main bathroom is off the hallway and has a full size bath tub with shower and glass screen. WC, wash basin, heated towel rail, storage shelves, large mirror and electric shaving point.

 

Utility cupboard

Large cupboard with washer / dryer and storage for vacuum cleaner, ironing board etc.

 

Entrance hall

The large entrance hall has a coat rack, storage shelves and bench. Video access control for the main door.

 

Outside

The main entrance from street level has a security lock which can also be operated from the apartment. The parking space is in the basement which also has a secure access door. A lift serves both levels and will take you straight to the door of the apartment. Please note, there is only one lift in the building and we cannot guarantee that it will be working at all times.

 

Disabled access

The apartment is easily accessed by wheelchair users and all internal doors are wider than standard. There are no special facilities for wheelchair users in the apartment, but it is easy to move around with no steps. See note above about access by lift.
